Framework Audit Engagement

A Framework Audit Engagement is a second step process that must be sponsored by a senior executive with budget authority to commit corporate assets to procure a solution. This phase of the Solution Life Cycle works with the user community at many levels to identify all document information that drives the organization. Additionally, it maps the usage flow of that information and identifies sources, volumes, formats, locations, and conditions of inbound and outbound documents. Index criteria are identified as well as pre or post processing data-transformation.

The deliverable is a top down document that drills down into the process flow of the business for documents and work, from the perspective of the pain an organization is experiencing and the vision(s) for an ideal solution. Armed with this information, organizations can obtain firm priced scope-of-effort for design based on thoroughly developed requirements and detail needs.

The purpose of the Framework Audit is to map out detailed requirements that will drive a technical architecture.
