Medical Records Software Released

NMS Imaging has launched a turnkey solution for the electronic capture, indexing, and retrieval of paper medical records.
Physicians offices and Hospitals are being asked to digitize patient records as part of a modernization of America’s health care system. NMS Imaging now provides this as a turnkey service with no upfront costs. By coupling a secure touch screen scanner from Kodak with a HIPAA compliant hosted storage and retrieval system medical offices can immediately begin scanning and viewing records online.
Medical offices are realizing the need for storing and retrieving medical records online but have been reluctant to abandon paper. NMS Imaging’s new solution removes these barriers by eliminating up front costs, in house IT support, and additional staffing. Physicians can continue to utilize paper.
Government incentives encourage the conversion to Electronic Medical Record systems. NMS Imaging’s new solution will work in tandem with these Electronic Medical Record systems by storing existing paper records with no data entry by staff.
